Brexit and Europe moving markets

Matt Brown speaks to Nick Batsford regarding Brexit and European woes moving equity and FX Markets. Brown highlights comments by Barnier and Prime Minister May uniting her Government to agree a level for the Brexit divorce bill. Brown discusses how 20 Investment Banks are lining up a rival clearing house in Europe and what that means for the UK and it’s financial businesses.

FTSE Stock to watch –

Easyjet after reporting inline numbers, despite profits being lower are discussed by Brown and Batsford, headwinds may include currency fluctuations and the rise in oil due to OPEC production cuts.

AIM Stock to watch –

The City Pub Company, with an IPO on Thursday. Brown discusses the success of the placing and how this will boost the cash available to the company.
The pound is moving up against the Dollar and Euro but with a Budget due and Inflation data out in the later week. Will is still continue to trend higher?

Finally, Brown discusses the under-performing French arm of Kingfisher, highlighted in the latest results.
